Slick & Pretty resides on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples – Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam Nations.
Slick & Pretty is art for your ears, hand made by me, Lily Napier Machek, a college student and aspiring designer. The business started when I dreamt up a pair of dangly pearl earrings and couldn’t find anything similar in stores. I figured that with some pliers, a bit of gold wire, and a handful of pearl beads, I could make them for myself, and so I did. After wearing them nearly every day that summer and getting my fair share of compliments, I decided to start making them for other people.
